Hello, I'm Ro Windust, an artist and art material junkie with a passion for bright and bold pops of colour. My work is known for its fun and vibrant colour palettes, packed with good vibes and guaranteed to make you smile.

I had no formal art training; my initial art education came from my Mum. At 21, I attended coloured pencil lessons with Janet Matthews and received art instruction from Carol Boothman in Melbourne. These experiences ignited my love for art and set me on my creative path.

Now, I work mostly with oils and acrylics, enjoying the process of creating artwork that evokes memories of treasured pets or one-off, original pieces inspired by birds and animals. I'm always on the lookout for exciting and unexpected colour accents to incorporate into my work, making each piece unique and full of life.

A big part of my inspiration comes from my love for dogs. Their playful energy and loyal companionship are a constant source of joy and creativity for me. Whether I'm capturing the essence of a beloved pet or simply enjoying their company, dogs play a significant role in my artistic journey.
